Chocolate Butterscotch Caramel Bars

These are easy to make and everyone liked them. I liked them best out of the refrigerator and if it is warm, store them in there, too.

Chocolate Butterscotch Caramel Bars

For the crust:
2 c flour
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c softened butter
1 1/2 c pecan halves
With electric mixer, beat the flour, sugar and butter until crumbly, and then pat down firmly in the bottom of a greased 13x9 inch pan.
Sprinkle the pecans over the top of the crust.
Caramel Middle
1 c butter
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
Cook brown sugar and butter on medium heat, while stirring until it bubbles for a minute or so, and then pour over crust.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
1 cup chocolate chips
1/3 c butterscotch chips
As soon as you take it out of the oven sprinkle chips over the top.
Let them melt for 3 minutes, and then take a butter knife or spatula and flatten out and swirl the chips a little to spread them out and make a pretty design. Cool in the refrigerator completely, cut into bars and indulge!
