Sourdough Coffee Cake

This recipe uses my sourdough starter.  It is a very moist coffee cake.  The directions didn't say how long to bake it, but 35 minutes seemed to work perfect.  The glaze recipe didn't have powdered sugar in it, but it needed it. 

2 c. sourdough starter, room temperature

2/3 c. oil

1 c. sugar

2 c. flour

1 scant tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. baking powder


1 c. brown sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 c. butter, softened

Mix with electric mixer. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.. Spread on glaze while hot.
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 c powdered sugar
