Sourdough Chocolate Chip Muffins

I doubled this recipe and made 24 mini muffins and 12 regular sized muffins. They tasted a bit like banana bread for some reason. I took them to school and my boys really enjoyed them.


Sourdough Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 C sourdough starter
1 C All Purpose flour
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C oil
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 C chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 400.

Combine dry ingredients in small bowl. Stir in chocolate chips. Combine wet ingredients in medium bowl. Add dry ingredients to wet ones.

Line your muffin tins with cupcake wrappers. Mix the wet and dry ingredients quickly and spoon into your muffin cups.

Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes for both the mini size and regular size
