The Good Salad

We made this while I was at my folks and then I made it again for Mother's Day lunch.  We all liked it.

The Good Salad
mom

8 c torn mixed salad greens
1 large apple, diced
1/2 c sliced almonds, cashews or other nuts
1/2 c mozzarella, grated

Dressing:

2/3 c oil
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c red wine vinegar
1/4 t dry mustard
1/2 t onion salt
1/2 t salt
1 T poppy seeds

Mix the dressing well and pour over salad just before serving.
