Banana Butterscotch Bread

I had some ripe bananas to use up and this recipe was perfect! My friend from Wisconsin sent me this recipe. Everyone at school LOVED it. Will make this again.

Banana Butterscotch Bread

1/2 cup butter

1 cup dark brown sugar

3 large eggs

1 cup mashed bananas (about 3)

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup butterscotch morsels

Cream butter and sugar.  Gradually add eggs, then bananas and vanilla.  fold in dry ingredients that have been sifted together.  Add morsels.  Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 for about an hour or until loaf tests done.  Cool in pan for 10 minutes and then turn out to cool completely.

A different twist on a common recipe.  Please note this recipe has no white sugar.
