Reese's Rice Krispie Treats

I made this recipe and took to school as a treat for my class.  The boys enjoyed them as did the teachers.
Reeses Rice Krispie Treat


  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 bag (10 1/2 oz mini marshmallow)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 2 cups Peanut Butter Captain Crunch cereal
  • 8 oz. miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cup

Topping


To make Reese’s Rice Krispie Treat

  1. Place butter, chocolate and marshmallows in a pan over low heat to melt. Stir melted ingredients until combined.
  2. Add in Rice Krispie, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch and miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, stir to combine. Quickly press finished mixture into pan, Set pan aside for 30-40 minutes to cool and set.

To make topping and assemble bars:

  1. Place chocolate, 2 teaspoon corn syrup and butter in a pan over low heat to melt. Gently stir melted ingredients until combined. Pour chocolate mixture on top of cooled Reeses Rice Krispie layer, using an offset spatula evenly spread chocolate layer.
  2. Place Reese's peanut butter chips and remaining 1/4 teaspoon corn syrup in a small pan over low heat to melt. Gently stir melted ingredients until combined. Transfer mixture to a pastry bag and drizzle on top of cooled chocolate layer.

  2. These are so very good and just enough different from regular Rice Krispie bars. You won't be disappointed if you give these a try
